International Conference: Environment and Natural Resources Management in Developing and Transition Economies

call for papers

You are invited to contribute on the following fields:
  • Biodiversity
  • Environmental law history and comparative law;
  • Environmental shocks and / or drastic changes in natural environment in developing and emerging countries (e. g. climate change);
  • Focus on emerging countries such as Brazil, China as well as India.
  • International governance and environmental treaties;
  • Natural resources management: forest, exhaustible resources, water. Natural resources management depends on national policies as well as the quality of institutions. At the micro level, conflicts exist which are often generated by poor or ill defined property rights: it is worth understanding the way these conflicts may appear and how they can be resolved;
  • Link between outward looking policies and the environment and natural resources management: which role for foreign direct investments, international trade or sovereign funds?
  • Poverty alleviation and the environment;
  • Etc.
Submissions should be sent in MS Word format by Email to Pascale Combes Motel by October, 17  2010 at the address: environment.conference2010@cerdi.org. Each submission should contain: communication's title, authors’ names and affiliations, postal addresses and  emails of presenting authors, abstracts up to 400 words, completed papers if available. Notification of acceptance will be made by October 25 2010.  Completed papers should be sent by November 1st 2010
