Abstract / Résumé : This paper is focused on the institutional dynamics implying by the financial liberalization process. The main idea is that the answer to financial instability leads us to go beyond the bank-based/market-based opposition: emerging economies would use the advantages of a bank-based system to reinforce the market process. Therefore, it is the process of financial liberalization which is the object of our analysis, so as to understand the stakes for the emerging economies in this very particular period of transition and imbalance.
